We took measurements from the parcel tray holder that went around the spare tire, and put the measurements all together for the fitting of the 12" JL Audio subwoofer with plugs in the back built into the box, then a toolbox from Lowes hardware, and we sealed the enclosure of the subwoofer. We designed it so the tool box can slide out and storage room underneath it where the wheel well space was. Using the spare tire bolt we matched the threads and bolted the box to the spare tire hole. I also hard wired a 350 watt power inverter to my truck using 8 gauge power wires(with 35 amp inline Stereo amplifier fuse) and bolted it to the side.
